What’s New inAccountMate 7.6 for SQL and Express
The most significant, most requested changes and new features in the latest release of AccountMate 7.6 for SQL and Express are listed below.
AccountMate Software evolves by adding features and functionality requested by our solution providers and our users. These enhancements demonstrate AccountMate’s commitment to continue to deliver benefit to users remaining on a current Maintenance Plan. Users on older versions of AccountMate Software can work with their Authorized AccountMate Solution Providers to determine if an upgrade is appropriate.

Option to Display Purchase Order Backorder Quantities in the Projected Material Requirement Report | A checkbox called Show PO Backorder Quantity has been added to the report. This feature is available when the report is sorted by Order Date or Request Date.

Gives users the ability to more effectively forecast the number of units that are available to sell or use after deducting the quantities that will be required to process existing work orders. |
Option to List Components with Insufficient Quantities only in the Projected Material Requirement Report | A checkbox called Exclude Components not in Shortage has been added to the report interface. This feature allows users to generate this report specifically for items that do not have sufficient quantities to meet the demand during a specific period. | Provides users the necessary information to initiate the processes that would replenish the company’s raw materials supply. |

Option to Filter AP Aging Reports by Due Date | Authorized users will be able to filter the Accounts Payable invoices that will be included in the Past-Due Aging Report and the Forecast Aging Report by their due dates. | Gives users the ability to prioritize invoices that are already due or about to become due.

Option to Accumulate Paid Leave for Overtime Work | Authorized users can set up overtime earning codes to accrue paid leave hours. This is especially useful in those situations where the paid leave benefits that employees can earn are based on the number of hours they work (i.e. regular and overtime) during a pay period. | Satisfies the requirements of companies that grant their employees paid leave benefits for the time that they work in excess of regular hours. |
New W-2 Code in Deduction Maintenance | Added the option “W – Employer Contribution to Health Savings Account” to the existing W- 2 Codes in Deduction Maintenance. This option allows for deductions that must be reported as Code W in Box 12 of the W-2 form. | Facilitates filing of W-2 forms. |
Automatically Populate Box 12 with Value of HSA Contributions | AccountMate will automatically populate Box 12 on the W-2 form with the sum of the employer and employee (if applicable) contributions to a health savings account. The value will come from the deduction records that are assigned the W-2 Code “W – Employer Contribution to Health Savings Account”. | Facilitates filing of W-2 forms. |

New Option to Sort GL Transfer Report by Fund + GL Account ID | Authorized users can sort the GL Transfer Report by Fund + GL Account ID. They can also filter the report for a range of fund IDs. This feature is only available to companies that are set up for fund accounting. | Helps users review and analyze how recorded transactions affect the account balances of each fund that the company maintains. |
